Vol. 1 has two (2) loose-leaf handwritten sheets titled S.W. Miller's list of fashion plates, laid in
Vol. 1 has bookplate on p. [3] of cover placed upside down: Wm. F. Murphy's Sons Stationers, Blank Book Manufacturers and Steam Power Printers, 509 Chestnut St., Philadelphia
Vol. 2 signed: S.W. Miller, [Howellville?]
Vol. 2 has newspaper clipping "Evolutions of the French bonnet" from the July 9, 1881 Harpers bazar, attached to back end paper
