    Tells the history of the Buffalo Soldiers, part of the 92nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, who liberated Lucca, Italy, in World War II, as well as how residents of Lucca remember and commemorate the battle. Ivan Houston and other members of the 92nd Division share personal memories including experiencing Jim Crow laws at the Division's headquarters at Fort Huachuca; combat during World War II; and their reactions to returning to Lucca, Italy, seventy years later. Relates to Ivan Houston's book, "Black warriors: the Buffalo Soldiers of World War II."
