    Description: 
    A soldier dressed in World War I era uniform standing on a low bronze plinth that rests on a two-stage granite base. The soldier is standing with his rifle resting over his proper right shoulder. Two helmets and a knapsack are carried on his back. On the front face of the base is a plaque featuring a relief of two servicemen in profile facing each other. One is a sailor, the other a soldier. In their proper right hands they each grasp the side of a wreath.
